Sprenger Max Control Loose Ring Bit

The Sprenger Max Control Loose Ring Bit at first glance, cannot be distinguished from other double-jointed loose ring snaffles. The Max Control, however, is a very useful correction or training bit which locks at a certain angle and thus becomes a straight bar, useful for horses or ponies which can be strong and/or evade rein aids. This Sprenger Bit lies very well in the mouth when the horse is working properly and effectively but when the horse opposes the rider’s hand the more intensive rigid effect occurs. When the horse accepts the bit again they are rewarded with the bit relaxing again in the mouth.
